Athletes Agreement (for Elite Athletes only)
You have already received detailed information to sign the Athletes Agreement updated for 2020. As you have seen or will see, the procedure for all athletes to sign the Agreement has changed this year, as we are trying to decrease the amount of paper we use at events. In order to comply with our Sustainability procedures, we have moved to an online form that can only be signed digitally. There will be no printed copies to be distributed and signed at events! This will require some attention in the low season, but it will be easier to arrive to your first event of 2020 without doing it on-site after the athletes briefing.
As in previous years, athletes can only compete in the following events once the athletes agreement is completed and signed for that calendar year:
• World Triathlon Series
• Triathlon World Cup
• U23 Triathlon World Championships
• Junior Triathlon World Championships
• Any Multisport World Championships – junior, u23, elite, paratriathlon categories
• Paratriathlon World Championships
• World Paratriathlon Series
• Paratriathlon World Cup
In the case that an athlete doesn’t have access to their admin page on the ITU website, they can apply for access at support@triathlon.org.
