World Triathlon

Soria, is a small city near Madrid.
A city with sport tradition with a important athletes like Abel Anton or Fermin Cacho, and a real partner organizing Duathlon events, with the Spanish Triathlon Federation and Castilla y Leon Triathlon Federation
One of the reasons for choosing Soria is the possibility of run the competition in the center of the city which makes the event more attractive for public and athletes,
Soria is also a Biosphere Reserve city because of its natural heritage, and the absence of noise and environmental pullution. Soria and their citizens will kindly receive the athletes coming from all around Europe to compete in the 2017 Soria ETU Duathlon European Championships

Castilla y León is divided into nine provinces. It is the largest autonomous community in Spain.
It is the region of the world with the most World Heritage Sites: Avila, Segovia, Salamanca, Atapuerca (archeological treasure in Burgos), Siega Verde (Paleolithic art in Salamanca), Burgos cathedral and Las Médulas (over ground gold mine of the Roman Empire)
This fact, makes this region attractive to the athletes coming all around Europe, that will have the oportunity to enjoy them.
