1. Elite athletes must make the registration via National Federation and ITU website. Contact your NF

CATEGORIES AND DISTANCES
Elite:
- 5 km run - 5 laps
- 20 km bike - 6 laps
- 2.5 km run - 5 laps

Youth 13-15 years
- 2.5 km run - 3 laps
- 10km bike - 3 laps
- 1.25 m run - one lap

Juniors 16-19 years
- 5 km run - 5 laps
- 20 km bike - 6 laps
- 2.5 km run - 5 laps

Amateur 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60.
- 5 km run - 5 laps
- 20 km bike - 6 laps
- 2.5 km run - 5 laps

Relay race male and female
- 5 km race - 5 laps
- 20 km bike - 6 laps
- 2.5 km race - 5 laps

Running and cycling routes - Balkan Duathlon Championsip Brasov - International Metropolitan Duathlon Brasov 2014 first edition (running course - 2.5km, cycling course - 20 km, running course - 5 km; half distances aplly to the cadet category)
