World Triathlon

AIRFARE SUBSIDY
The Local Organizing Committee of the 2013 Tongyeong ITU Triathlon World Cup will provide airfare subsidy to 30 elite athletes (15 male and 15 female).
The amount of the subsidy will be done according to the position of the athletes on the ITU Points List 32 days before the event and this list will be the only one used for the eligibility of the support.
ITU ranking top 1-50 : 1,300USD
ITU ranking top 51-100 : 1,000USD
ITU ranking top 101-200: 700USD
The best ranked athletes in the start lists will be supported with the airfare subsidy, considering a maximum of 2 athletes per nation (Men and Women separately).
Only athletes entered 32 days before the event will be considered. The subsidy will be paid after the event.

Pontoon Dive Start
Water temperature: 22deg
Number of laps: 2
Ocean
At the end of the first lap, athletes need to come out on the pontoon and dive back in. Distance to the first buoy is 335m.

BIKE
40 km
Number of laps:5
5 laps of 8km with 2 big hills(13%, 15%) hilly, fast. 2 wheels stops per lap: - wheel stop 1: next to Transition, athletes/teams need to bring their own wheels - wheel stop 2: 1st bike turning point provided by the LOC.

RUN
10 km
Number of laps:4
4 laps of 2,5 km. Flat. 2 Aid Stations per lap.
