Svanebo secures his fourth European Championship title

Sweden's Andreas Svanebo has won the Winter Triathlon European Championship title in Valsesia.

It is Svanebo's fourth European Championship, and all the more sweeter given he has missed a lot of races in the Winter Triathlon series due to injury.

Svanebo (pictured above winning in Lygna in 2010)  finished in a time of 1:20:47 ahead of Italy's Daniel Antonioli and Nicolas Lebrun of France.

Erbenova finished in 1:37:55 ahead of defending Champion Borghild Løvset (NOR) and Andrea Huser (SUI).
