New Look for TriNZ

Triathlon NZ are pleased to announce their new logo and website. The launch held in conjunction with the New Zealand National Championships in Kinloch Taupo, saw their new branding in full display.

The new logo is the result of four months of planning and consultation, instigated by Triathlon NZ’s latest CEO, Rick Faulding.

“We desperately wanted to update our image and have a familiar face which is recognized all over the world”.

The contemporary design incorporates the symbolic New Zealand fern.

“The fern is a very strong trademark of New Zealand. People recognize our fern all over the world and our athletes are very proud to wear it in competition.”

A new website has also been placed on line to support the new imagery. The website still remains at www.triathlon.org.nz and comments can be posted on the online forum. The message forum (or blog) is a tool which is to be used to document peoples experiences in the sport.

The Triathlon NZ Logo also incorporates the ITU rings within the design. The incorporation of the ITU rings on all federation logos is a new initiative aimed at increasing their worldwide profile and recognizing their contribution to the sport.
