René Göhler (GER) and Yvonne Van Vlercken (NED)
have won the 24th edition of the ITU Vlaanderen LD triathlon in Brasschaat.  Göhler was first after the 2 loop swim. At T2 5 athletes (a.o. Schellens, Johnsen and Göhler) came off the bike together. The running course was flat and shady with a lot of spectators.
Göhler won, Jimmy Johnson from Denmark being second and Gerrit Schellens third. At the womans race Yvonne Van Vlercken won before Vleugels and Vandenbroeck.
