Helen Jenkins might have missed last year’s season of competition, but she came roaring back to the rankings early this year making her return a highlight of the season.
In her first World Triathlon Series race in over a year, Jenkins wasted no time getting on a podium with bronze behind just Jodie Stimpson and Anne Haug in the season opener in Auckland. Then in Cape Town, she kicked it up another notch for silver.
Just got back to hotel, thanks so much for all the messages! So happy to be on podium again! What an amazing race in Cape Town!

Before she had to reel her training back in a bit, the British sensation set out for yet another silver in Chicago only behind World Champ Gwen Jorgensen.
Though Jenkins had to miss the second half of the season due to an injury, something tells us she’ll be back in form better than ever in 2015. We’re excited to see her back out there when she’s healthy, primed and ready to race!
