World Triathlon

This event is only open to Elite Male and Female participants.

Enjoy one of the biggest festivals of triathlon in New Zealand this February! Tri Kinloch offers a sheltered Lake Taupo swim, a scenic ride and run, and a race village with amazing atmosphere!

Participants from across the country descend on Kinloch for this special event - some looking to team up with some mates or to try something new, others looking for a warm-up event, a speed-tester, a world champs qualifier or a national champs medal.

In accordance with the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board and the Department of Conservation we require that you Check Clean Dry all your swimming equipment prior to entry into Lake Taupō.  This is to protect the awesome water quality of the Great Lake Taupō Region from invasive freshwater threats (such as didymo & hornwort)
You must bring your wet-suit to the Athlete Briefing to be dipped at the Check Clean Dry (CCD) Station prior to registration. If you are training in the Taupo region prior to the race please CCD your own equipment first.
