Vicente was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. He first started playing football and swimming when he was eleven years old. At the age of eighteen is when he began his triathlon career.
Vicente had always lived in Tenerife but moved to Madrid soon after taking up triathlon in order to train at the Madrid High Performance Center.
Vicente was selected to represent Spain at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016, and placed 27th.

- 9th place at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Leeds;
- 10th place at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Montréal;
- 13th place at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Hamburg;
- 16th place at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Stockholm;
- 25th place at the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Edmonton; and
- 27th place at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
